About Us

Bayfield owes its existence to Lake Superior. Our maritime history is deep, covering stories from the first people who plied these waters and the fishermen, the pleasure boaters, the innovators and the workers.

The Bayfield Maritime Museum is open June through mid-September and has free admission.
