The Bayfield Heritage Association (BHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing the history and culture of the Bayfield area through museum exhibits, educational programs, and archival research. BHA was established in 1974 and continues to serve visitors and area residents through the following services:
FREE HISTORY MUSEUM
The Bayfield Heritage Museum is open seasonally, June - October. Please check our website or Facebook page for current hours or call our main office at 715-779-5958. Museum admission is free and donation are appreciated.
The Bayfield Heritage Associations offers monthly educational programs (Sunday afternoons, 2:00pm fall - spring months) about area history through our John Matthew Black Program Series. See a full listing of events on our website.
The Bayfield Heritage Association maintains a collection of historical archives (documents, photographs, books, maps, recorded interviews, etc.) from our region through an electronic database, as well as a complete physical collection on-site.
