Lori Schneider | Inspirational speaker

Schneider is an international speaker, author, teacher of 20 years, Everest and 7 Summits mountaineer, adventurer, and advocate for those living with neurological disorders and disabilities.

Her organization, Empowerment Through Adventure, inspires others to take their own leap of faith, scaling life’s mountains and obstacles, and climbing beyond preconceived limitations.

Lori became the first person with multiple sclerosis to summit Everest. Lori is also the first with MS to complete the 7 Summits, scaling Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Denali, Aconcagua, Vinson, Kosciuszko, and Everest.

Lori is a professional inspirational and motivational speaker. Her speeches and interviews have been translated into dozens of languages and printed in national and international publications, including Reader’s Digest, Women’s Adventure, Guidepost, USA Today, TEDx, and newspapers & magazines around the world.

Lori's presentation is an inspiring mix of story-telling, personal memoirs from high on Everest, and compelling images from her 7 Summits climbs. In her speeches, Lori weaves together two moving stories – the story of climbing the highest mountain on each continent, and the story of climbing the mountains and obstacles in life. Lori shares her words to empower others to move beyond their labels and preconceived limitations and live their dreams.
