The Bayfield Inn utility staff are responsible for keeping all kitchen, back of the house, rooftop, and grounds neat, tidy, and sanitary while following strict health and safety procedures.
Working with the kitchen and food & beverage managers, utility staff maintains the overall cleanliness and sanitation of areas within and associated with the food & beverage department and Bayfield Inn grounds including but not limited to: hauling garbage, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, picking up trash, wiping up spills, hauling packages and product, washing windows, hosing down floor mats, etc.
With an outgoing disposition and an eye for detail, utility staff are expected to be attentive, health-code conscious, efficient, and thorough. The ability to work quickly, efficiently, and effectively while remaining calm in a bustling, fast-paced business setting is key.
This position requires a lot of physicality (up and down flights of stairs throughout the building, lifting and moving heavy objects, working indoors and out, etc.). Candidates with high standards for cleanliness, attention to detail, great communication skills, and outgoing personalities are strongly encouraged to apply! Experience is preferred, but not necessary as we will train the right candidates.
