Big Top Chautauqua is a performing arts venue presenting 50+ concerts each year including international headliners, regional talent, and original productions all in the heart of the beautiful Northwoods nestled near the shores of Lake Superior.
If you have an eye for trendy style and a knack for sales and sales management, you might be the ideal candidate to become the 2021 Season Merchandise Manager at Big Top Chautauqua.
The main responsibilities will include management of Big Top Chautauqua’s merchandise booth and sales for the 2021 summer season lasting mid-June through early October. Hours for this seasonal position typically range from either 12:30 PM – closing, or 4:30 PM – closing, depending on the scheduled performance hours; includes weekends and evenings.
Other duties for this position include inventory management of apparel & gift items between Big Top’s main office in Washburn and the big blue tent on Ski Hill Road, managing the sales process of guest artist’s merchandise, and acting as lead sales person supervising volunteer scheduled help. Managing the merchandise booth at the annual Applefest in Bayfield is also a priority. A keen eye for creative merchandising is a must, as well as being comfortable with working in a Windows-based software program.
Compensation dependent on experience and availability.
