Working Dogs for Conservation - Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center
Working Dogs for Conservation (WD4C) is the world's leading conservation detection dog organization. By employing high-energy rescue dogs, they combine expert canine data collection with cutting edge laboratory techniques to help answer some of the most pressing questions in conservation.
Ashland High graduate Kayla Fratt is the Communications and Outreach Coordinator for WD4C. Kayal and her dog Barley will tell us about the incredible things being done by the dogs and trainers of this organization, and provide demonstrations on invasive zebra mussel detection.
