"Just the Bear Facts" at Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center
Derek Johnson, Wisconsin DNR Wildlife Biologist, will describe the ecology of one of Wisconsin’s most recognizable wildlife species- the American Black Bear. Attendees will also explore the numerous ways in which humans and bears intersect in Wisconsin, and learn about new approaches to black bear management defined in the state’s revised Black Bear Management Plan.
Doors open at 6:15 PM to view artifacts and displays. Presentation begins at 7 PM. Free and open to the public.
