Bayfield Heritage Tours, LLC offers step-on guide services for Bayfield and vicinity. These tours visit several historic sites as well as orchards. The guide relates interesting and humorous stories about Bayfield's founding and early pioneers, natural resources and industries, and area events and wildlife.These are conducted on the group's bus and are between an hour and three hours in duration. Each tour is customized to the interests and time availability of the group.
''Discover Bayfield, Wisconsin'' is a series of self-guided walking tour books for individual use any time of the year. Current books include ''A Walk Up Washington Avenue'' and ''A Stroll Down Rittenhouse Avenue''. Each self-guided walk covers about six blocks and will take about 45 minutes to an hour to complete. Together the books form a loop. The self-guided books are sold at the Bayfield Chamber of Commerce, Keeper of the Light Gift Store, What Goes Round Books, Old Rittenhouse Inn, Madeline Island Museum and many other fine local businesses. New books in the series are added each year.
''Ghosts and Legends of Old Bayfield'' is a CD of local ghost stories told on the original Ghosts and Legends of Old Bayfield walking tour. It is also available for purchase at many area businesses and is a fine accompaniment to the self-guided walking tour books.
