Name: Moonlight in the Cemetery at Bayfield Ghost and History Walks - Bayfield Heritage Tours LLC
Date: September 6, 2014
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM CDT
Event Description:
Explore historic Bayfield cemetery by moonlight.  On and around full moon nights your ghostly guide, a former Bayfield resident, will lead you to the tombs of Bayfield pioneers to reveal the many stories behind the tombstones, the cemetery itself and the Bayfield community.  You will meet the people who built the town out of the wilderness, Civil War veterans, a lighthouse keeper, WWII hero; stories to make you laugh, sigh and shiver. You storytelling guide will end with some chilling local ghost stories. The cemetery offers easy walking on asphalt and gravel.  We walk in all weather conditions. Bring a flashlight if you wish, but please remove any food or candy from your pocket—we don’t need to attract bears!
Location:
Meet your guide at 7 PM at the Bayfield Cemetery one mile north of Bayfield on Hwy I (Washington Avenue). Look for the tall obelisk on the left hand side (west side) of the road. Drive and park only on the paved roads.
