Name: A Day on the Green - Traditional Madeline Island Museum 4th of July at Madeline Island Museum:
Date: July 4, 2017
Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM CDT
Event Description:
A Day on the Green - Traditional Madeline Island Museum 4th of July

The Museum is open 10am - 5pm.

Every year after the parade on La Pointe's Main Street, which starts at 10:30am at the Marina and ends at the corner just past the Museum, island residents and visitors gather on The Green in front of (and owned by) the Madeline Island Museum.

Here they are treated to a special program, speeches, parade awards, and a home-grown music festival, planned and presented by island residents.

Other events are featured on the island throughout the day, and of course there are fireworks off the ferry dock in the evening!
